Mechanical Engineering Student & Faculty Social
Every semester, the Stony Brook ASME chapter hosts a vibrant social event that brings together students and faculty from across the engineering community. This gathering is an opportunity to build meaningful connections and foster a stronger sense of community within the department. Students get to meet and mingle with their peers, share experiences, and form relationships extending beyond the classroom.
At the same time, faculty members have the chance to engage with the next generation of engineers in a casual, welcoming environment. These interactions help bridge the gap between students and professors, encouraging open dialogue, mentorship, and collaboration. With great food, engaging conversations, and a friendly atmosphere, this social is a cornerstone of our commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive engineering program.
