Mechanical Engineering Student & Faculty Social

Every semester, the Stony Brook ASME chapter hosts a vibrant social event that brings together students and faculty from across the engineering community. This gathering is more than just a chance to relax—it’s an opportunity to build meaningful connections and foster a stronger sense of community within the department.

Students get to meet and mingle with their peers, share experiences, and form connections that often extend beyond the classroom. At the same time, faculty members have the chance to engage with the next generation of engineers in a casual, welcoming environment. These interactions help bridge the gap between students and professors, encouraging open dialogue, mentorship, and collaboration.
