ASME holds an annual competition among all ASME chapters worldwide in a variety of competitions as part of Engineering Festival! We are participating in the 2026 Student Design Challenge!

Challenge

The 2025-2026 ASME E-Fest Student Design Competition challenges student teams to build a waste-sorting robot for an unknown course in a model city. We will be competing in-person with our design Spring 2026!

Robot Design

The team is split into three sub teams to work on the electrical, mechanical and software components.
